Council would like to strengthen the relationship with the Kingston Butter Factory (KBF) neighbours' including improving communication about events and opportunities at the premises. This webpage is one of the communication tools available to our neighbours to:

  • Have their say and ask questions regarding KBF events.
  • Be informed about opportunities to have a chat to staff, including pop-ups and open-house sessions.
  • Learn about events and opportunities taking place at KBF.
  • Sharing their experiences.

Background

The Logan community has been engaged in the planning of KBF before its relaunch/restoration as a cultural precinct.

The 2019 community engagement confirmed the community would like a dedicated performing arts and cultural hub to be located at the KBF site. Now we would like you to help guide future programming.

    Inaugural Butter Factory Breakfast Markets

    When: Saturday 13 May, pop up from 8am - 10am.

    Milky Way Markets - June

    When: Friday 16, June, pop-up from 4:30pm - 6:30pm

    Logan Eco Forum: Celebrating our Nature Spaces

    When: Friday 23, June, 5:30pm - 8:00pm

    Where: Butterbox Theatre, Kingston Butter Factory Cultural Precinct.

    Eats & Beats - June

    Come and have a chat to staff about KBF from 6-8 pm at Eats & Beats. Postcard surveys will also be available at the Council stall for the duration of the event.
