Logan is home to two iconic rivers, the Logan River and the Albert River. We have a variety of wildlife, including:

  • 56 species of native mammals
  • 273 species of birds
  • 58 native reptile species
  • 27 native frogs
  • Many fish and insect species

24 of these species are state and federally listed threatened species.

Help us enhance wildlife, waterways, and waste management for a healthier environment for current and future generations to enjoy.
