Logan City Council is currently undertaking a Land Management Plan for Bedford Park in Eagleby.

Bedford Park is a State Government owned park which Council manages as trustee.

A Land Management Plan is required to ensure Council fulfills its duty of care for the land in their trust.

Providing a lease to Twin Rivers Community Mallet Club Inc requires the completion of a Land Management Plan.

A concept plan has been developed to demonstrate the proposed future development of the site.

This includes:

  • Expansion of courts for mallet sports
  • Clubhouse facility for mallet sports (which, subject to seeking and obtaining future funding would include kitchenette, amenities, meeting room / social space)
  • Improved footpaths
  • Improved playground and facilities
